The first step to working with Catalyst Nutrition & Performance (Catalyst) is verification of your benefits. Most insurance providers now cover Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). If you already know your insurance DOES NOT cover Medical Nutrition Therapy, you can schedule Self-Pay services.

After you Complete the Verification of Benefits form, a member of Catalyst will reach out to your insurance provider to determine your coverage. Once your benefits are confirmed:

1. You can expect to receive an email within 2-3 business days from an @fueling4performance.com email address with details regarding your insurance coverage for nutrition services and a booking link to schedule.

2. To schedule your Initial nutrition consultation appointment, you'll click on the link in the email.

3. Choose an appointment that works with your schedule. We recommend scheduling an appointment at least 3-4 days from the date your booking your Initial session as you'll receive a email with the online intake forms that must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment or your appointment will be cancelled.

4. All Catalyst Nutrition & Performance sessions are conducted by Telehealth. Telehealth access details will be sent prior to your appointment.

Health Insurance Notice

Catalyst Nutrition & Performance is In-Network with the following major insurance providers for Medical Nutrition Therapy (nutrition counseling), including: Aetna, CareFirst/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare.

Benefits Verification

Our office typically needs 2-3 days to verify your nutrition benefits before you schedule your Initial appointment. Sometimes it might quicker, but we can't guarantee that. We will notify you of your estimated coverage and any anticipated out-of-pocket costs prior to you scheduling your visit whenever possible. Please note that coverage varies by individual plan.
